I have a axim x51, and this might sound weird, but bear with me

When I plug in a fully charged battery (from the dock) the orange "charging" LED comes on the Axim (it is not plugged in), when I check the power it usually shows as ~50-70%. The charging led stays on, and if I put the Axim to sleep, wait a few minutes, then check the power level again it rises to like 89%. Eventually the Charging LED turns off, but that takes a LONG time.

Another thing is that the percentage levels don't change very often. it will stay at 70% for about half an hour, then sudden starts to drain to 20% in just a few minutes.

Also, my Axim seems to drain battery really quickly. I have 3 batteries, 2 standard and 1 extended. They all seem to last <1 hour even on power save mode doing nothing. They even seem to drain (less quickly) when the axim is powered off/sleeping.

I updated the axim to the newest BIOS on dell's website. but this happened with A03 ROM also.

Anybody know how to fix this?
