I think my X51v is hosed. When I turn it on it only shows the White Screen Of Death (WSOD) but I know the touchscreen is still responsive because I can hear it whenever I touch the screen. I tried a hard-reset but nothing helps. Can't do much with it if it can't display anything.

Does this mean the touchscreen is still ok but the digitizer is damaged?

What would be the estimate cost of repair from someplace like pocketpctechs?

If its not worth the cost to repair, could I still use an external VGA cable to display on a monitor? Do you need to see the actual LCD screen to enable external display?

Btw, warranty just expired last November.
