Wierd display thing happening

I have used my axim for quite sometime and then a few months ago I did a hard reset and reinstalled all my programs, like a quarterly cleaning like i'm sure a lot of us do. But I digress

Ever since I did the hard reset, i am getting a wierd video problem. When i'm using it it's fine, but if i put it in standby mode (not full power off, but the half-power off, you know what i mean) and then turn it back on a few hours later, the start menu and any icons do not show up as icons, instead they have a really wierd pattern on them. Any thoughts on teh issue? I know screen shots would help and I can get those when i get home today.

You have any third party graphic apps? That might explain it? Something that adjusts the VGA on it perhaps?

What version of ROM are you running? Some of the earliest ROM versions seem to be problematic in terms of display corruption. I am running A12, and I do not see many issues.

Those are awesome ideas but i'm running the newest rom with no third part video tweaks/apps. :-\ grrr

Do use spb pocket plus?
Mine started doing that after upgrading to version 4.0.2
I have downgraded to 4.0.1 and the problem disappeared
I am using rom A12
