‘loosened lock switch’ of the axim51v's left side

Hi,
I’m one of Axim51v users

Recently I disassembled & reassembled its body,
for repairing ‘your battery latch open’ message error.
(I fixed it permanently with a little silicon into sensor hole;;)

My problem is ‘loosened lock switch’ on the left side, of course it’s Not functioning like before.

Did I lost or missed any part(s) when reassembling?
Or my assembling method was not proper?

I’m waiting for your any tip or suggestion sincerely..
p.s. thanks for your reading this thread

Hard to say if you missed any parts when reassembling, only you know that answer :)
Same answer for your "method was not proper" question....we don't know what steps you took during disassembly/assembly.

All you can do is take it back apart, follow any guides you come across, and double check your steps.
Same goes for reassembly.

Look, look, and look again to make sure everything is seated correctly, and is where it's supposed to be.

You forgot to ask if he had any left over parts!
The lock switch on my 51v has a definite detent
but have not had it apart so it could be ball/spring
or shaped metal detent plate.
In backwards or missing spring/ball!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no separate detent mechanism (just the plastic molding of the switch). My guess would be that you haven't got the switch locked into the plastic knob correctly. (easliy done as the thing tends to move as you drop it into the case).
