Can I follow the tutorial for the A06 to A12 Upgrade on the rom for an AO3 to A12? When I got my used axim on X51 used AO3 unstead A06

yes.. you can go straight to the latest version and ignore the ones in between.

Wait.... i think that the A12 is for the x51v not the x51. You have to use the right ROM or it won't update. get it from the Dell website.

The procedure should be same as "A06 to A12 upgrade" except you need to use the latest ROM for X51.

You should be able to locate the correct ROM upgrade on the Dell web site. In fact if you would care to you could go to the A17 upgrade that has been made available by a member listed on this site. The A17 is still to the WM5 OS but with some tweaking. There is a WM6 OS update according to the internet. This WM6 OS is not from Dell or M$ and therefore cannot be discussed on this site (per their rules). Information can be found by doing a Google search though.
