Wifi LED turns on at midnight

Hi.
at midnight on the dot, my green WIFI LED starts flashing. The screen doesn't turn on, just the LED. I really can't say if it happens every night, or just the odd few times I've noticed it. I've never noticed a significant battery drain overnight (which would indicate it's turning on for a period).
To stop it I turn the axim on, turn wifi off, then turn axim off.
Any suggestions? I searched the threads for "midnight" but no luck.

If you leave the wifi on when you turn off the pda then at midnight it will flash for a bit while the pda does its daily schedule update which it does at midnight. If it isn't causing you a problem with battery drain and it shuts itself off each time you can safely ignore it. But if you happen to have something, lets say on your Today screen, that tries to update itself when it senses a connection then you might have problems with it not turning back off. If you do start having problems with battery drain you can do two things, turn off wifi before you shut it off for the night or put it on the cradle so its charging and it won't matter if it turns off. leaving it on the the charger won't hurt the battery and you will always have a fresh battery in the morning.

It happens whether you leave wifi or bluetooth on or off but if you leave them both off you just don't notice it cause the screen doesn't turn on.
