Hello,

Forgive my ignorance, but what are the chances that the touch screen digitizer would be still intact despite the fact that the LCD has been broken? I assume that taking it off the device should be slow and painful operation.

I know that if the digitizer ceases working one still stands a chance should they replace it, but have never come across a situation when someone changed the LCD (it might be that the LCD's are usually sold as a combo.

You might be lucky. General electronics suggests it might work so long as it's only the screen itself that's broken...

I will take this answer as "yes".

I have just thought that should you be careful not to break any connections and it is in a good condition, it should be OK. I simply hoped that someona had had the chance to do something similar.

It works!

Take off the touch screen as gently as possible. Do not tuch it inner side and blow the dust from the LCD using some compressed air can.

It works and I am so happy. I did not expect as no one had mentioned this before. I guess people simply throw everything once the LCD starts bleeding.

Does anyone where I can find a WiFi antenna (rtaher the whole module) for Axim X51v and/or hx4700?
