verizon.net password problems

i've been killing myself trying to get my x50v to log in to my verizon pop mail. i've got two other pop accounts working fine, and have set up the pop info exactly on my laptop and the same info works fine there. i don't think i have server name problems as it allways says "logging in" the problem is it always cues me foe my password and never gets any farther (even for my incomming). i am using my full email as my username and have typed my password i don't know how many times. no domain is entered...

i'm going nuts here

so, i'm still struggling.... i've opened a yahoo account and a hotmail account and have no problems adding thosse to the axim. my verizon account works fine on my pc and laptop. it seems that the axim just doens't like verizon.net. i updated one of my axims to wm6.1 and the same thing. in fact, the "auto detect" settings won't connect to anything verizon.net...

could there be any reason i can't get onto them in particular?

I was able to configure my Verizon.net eMail accounts when I had Verizon. I had them working with both the Pocket OutLook client and with the FlexMail client.

I would recommend manually setting up the account(s) rather than allowing auto-detect to attempt setup.
