I have a nokia 6300 mobile and would like to use my x51v as a handsfree unit for my mobile. I've just got a docking cradle for my pda that allows the gps software 'lady' to talk out of the cradle's speaker. There is also a microphone on the cradle so thats what made me think of connecting it to my mobile. i've searched for audio enhancements on my mobile but it doesn't find the pda, and setting up a partnership from the pda doesn't bring any joy. is it possible? do i need to install any software? i've got ROM version A012.

I don't think the software on the Axim will support it being used as an accessory for this Bluetooth service. It's programmed as a host rather than an accessory, as is the phone. There's always the chance that someone has developed software for this purpose, but I doubt it. A lot of devices not designed specifically for full duplex speakerphone type conversations also tend to have feedback problems. There are a lot of handsfree systems for cars. As a matter of fact, there are bluetooth stereos that allow you to play music from your phone (or other BT device), or answer calls over your stereo system. The cheapest and simplest hands free solution in my book is a bluetooth headset. Very versatile and cheap.
