Axim x51v and the CF modem

Good day to all. Maybe this should be written into Accesories part, but for me it is a general trouble with the x51v. To begin with, it does not HR, but as I see this is common for WM6 and 51. So maybe I will solve this later anyhow. But another question more actual is that the x51v doesn't work with the CF modem card for 450MHz CDMA network, the Ubiquam UM-100. The Access Manager program provided for it by Ubiquam is designed for 2003 and doesn't work under 6.1 LennySh, though the window opens, yet it says there is a Modem Mistake and the buttons are not active. The modem itself appears to be alive, the lights flashing as they should.
I guess this is similar to the GPRS CF modem card installation and usage with x51v, so maybe anyone could give me advice here. Is this Hayes-compatible modems in both cases?
And what is also important is that this UM-100 must not only serve as a data modem, but also as a voice and short message device as it is designed for W2003. Those things also desirable to resuscitate..

The first issue about not doing Hard Reset is solved alright. I just reflashed my x51v to the same version of WM6.1 by LennySh (is that experimental version the best, I don't know, but it's working fine!), and HR goes well. Yet the trouble with the CF-modem stays. But I'm on my serious way to make it work. That problem is though actual to countries where CDMA-450 is available. Must say it is a very good cellular..

To my regret, I didn't manage to make this CF modem work under WM6.1, though I tried all I could do with the registry. So I went back to Dell's WM5 A12, and the modem works now alright. It seems to me the problem has a workaround, and if time permits I will come to it later. But this shows there is another reason not to go upstairs..
