I got this, thinking it would work but I can't get it to pair up successfully with my axim. My axim detects it as a bluetooth mouse, but when it asks me to enter a passcode, it keeps saying passcode incorrect (which doesn't make sense since it's supposed to be a number I'm creating for the first time).
Maybe this isn't ppc compatible? There's nothing in the documention (very sparse, btw) which says it wouldn't work with ppc - it says it should work with all bluetooth devices.
Or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Please advise!

Yes, as Dont Panic says, try 0000 or no passcode or look in the documentation for a specific passcode for the mouse.
As the mouse has no keyboard etc for you to input the code on it's end, you cannot choose a passcode that it doesn't already have.
You next problem, once you have paired it, is that the Ax doesn't have an inbuilt cursor.
The mouse will connect and be recognized as a HID but it won't have anything to move around and click with.
Teksoft do one Here.
They have a trial version to make sure it works before you buy it.
Are you sure about that cursor thing Box? I used a wireless mouse on my HTC Advantage and a cursor showed up no problem. That devices was running WM6 so maybe that's why the cursor was there.

Yeah, works fine with WM6, same for me with my Advantage.
But going from my experience with a BT mouse on my X51v, no built in cursor.
Took me ages to find the teksoft one.
Even posted a thread asking about it ages back, but nobody had an answer for poor little me, had to go a hunting.

Thanks - no passcode is what worked!!
Stinks, though, that I have to pay for a pointer:( No free alternatives?
I never found a free one.
You could say that upgrading your Axim to WM6 would be a free way of doing it.
But I'm not certain that all wm6 ROMs have the pointer built in, and that's a big step just to make your mouse work.
Unfortunately, I have WM5 and I can't get this to work at all. After installing the driver, it can't find the mouse even though it's paired and turned on.
I found this in the forum on Teksoft's site:
"Currently BlueMouse does not support devices with Widcomm (Broadcomm) Bluetooth stack such is the case of Acer and Asus devices. "
Is that my problem? I've made no modification to the built-in bluetooth driver on my axim - do I have to?
It's a long time since I used it but if I remember correctly,
delete the pairing, then start bluemouse and let it find the mouse itself.
Make sure you have BT on and the mouse set to discoverable.
If you haven't altered anything yourself then you don't have the widcomm drivers installed, so that shouldn't be your problem.

No, that didn't work - got a message saying mouse not paired with device.
thanks, though.
