Odd Power/Charge Issue

After charging my HLI-X50EX Mugen Power battery (3300 mAH) I turn the unit on and immediately get the "main battery low" notification. If I turn the unin off, or allow it to shut down from the notice, then remove the battery, reinstall and turn on, everything is fine...100% charge on the battery icon and 100% reading on the diagnostics. I have 2 of these batteries and the system reacts the same with either installed. When I run the 1100 mAH battery there is no problem...all works as expected. Any ideas? OS related?

Sounds OS releated to me. I would email the supplier and ask them if they have had any issues like this with their product and the unit your using.

Thanks. I've already started to dialogue with Mugen. They are very responsive.

I'm curious as to what they are saying. This is a strange and interesting topic.

Mugen has a very good name in the industry. Others have reported on this site that they stand behind their products and that their products perform well. :approve:

The did this time, advising me to return the new battery for a warranty replacement. The voltage reading on the Dell Diagnostics battery screen shows a voltage of 4.1v, not the 3.7v nominal to the unit.
