Hi,

I have a X51 adn it will not install S/w any more I want to reset the whole thing back to factory and start again.

any ideas how to do this - i have lost (but am still looking for) the disk I got with it.

Hard reset... press reset button whilst holding down power button and follow the onscreen prompts...

This will of course wipe all your data

but will it reset everything? or is some sort of install just as good?

It will reset everything and restore your PDA to its factory condition.

I believe this was covered in the manual I got with my unit and is probably covered on this site some where in a stickynote. :approve:
