Okay, wow, after looking at some of the pictures of touch screens on ebay, i would say about HALF of the pictures are of the ribbon connector backwords...

Look carefully at the connector in the following ebay auctions, and you tell me if you can see the difference too:

This one is of the cable backwords, like the one i got:

This one i beleave is correct:

This one is also correct:
NEW LCD TOUCH SCREEN for Dell axim X50V/X50U/X51V - eBay (item 110277344006 end time Aug-09-08 02:31:05 PDT)

This one is wrong (backwords):
LCD TOUCH SCREEN for Dell axim X50V/X50U/X51V - eBay (item 350085024149 end time Aug-08-08 07:36:25 PDT)



I think that shows my point...

You may have to turn the pictures around in your mind, so the ribbon cable is on the left hand bottom side, and that the plasic part over the end of the ribbon cable to facing down (if the picture is flipped upside down, you will have to put the picture in your mind, then flip it over, while thinking of the ribbon cable, kinda hard to explain lol.)

If someone else here can also confirm this, please let me know!

I have been having the same problems that you describe since my v51v was new. Its impossible to use the scroll bars. I upgraded to WM6 and still the same problems. I bought this a month ago on ebay supposedly new...yea.
