Axim X51 has black and white screen

I had my Axim x51 in my backup for a while and recently when I took it out I get this screen. At first the power light would come on and off with this same screen but now I cant even get a power light on anymore.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a soft reset?

If you have, with no change, you may have to do a hard reset. :(

If it were mine I would take it completely apart & put it back together to reseat all electronic connections. Don't give up until you know there is nothing else you can do.

Great suggestion. I'm an electronics technician and I can't even count the times (in the last 20 years) I've had to reseat a connector to revive a device and that's all it took.
