x51v WLAN Driver not loaded message

For no apparent reason, I have started having the drivers for my WiFi disappear and have been seeing this "Drivers not loaded" in WLAN. This happenned about two months ago and I ended up doing a Hard Reset, having to reload all my programs and data. That fixed the problem until about a week ago when it happened again. Now I'm without connectivity again. Does anyone have any idea how to correct this proble without the Hard reset. I checked Dell with the usual "wonderful" results. Help please

Check the WM5 section of the WiFi guide (linked from my signature). I'm sure I address this issue. If it isn't in the WM5 section, look in Troubleshooting shooting.

I am having a similar problem. At the WLAN Utility screen, no matter how many times I tap the "turn on" tab, the thinking wheel will come up but the the status shows that the WLAN is still off (even though I have it on through the hardware button and the blue led is blinking at the top right. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any chance you looked at the WiFi Guide like I suggested to the OP?

BTW, the blue light indicates that Bluetooth is on. WiFi is a green LED at the same location.

Mad Axim X51 Hardware Discussions

I'm having the same problem .The WLan is saying drivers not loaded. I've been looking everywhere to download the drivers. But I keep finding incorrect drivers. I've hard reset, and then it chaged the name of my WM Folder. So then I had to copy or drag everything to the new file. Problem of it is; I have two computers plus the Dell X51V. The Axim keeps trying to sign on to my neighbors router that is secured? It opens two different attenas on top. I would really appreciate any help someone could give me. I had hotmail and messenger working like a breeze. It also saved me from turning on my desktops for just email checks. My electric bill went down 15.00 a month. Please Help Uggh !! Tim
