Trouble syncing calendar

After many probelms with syncing I have recently upgraded my laptop which runs vista (not my choice - a work computer).

To my surprise my PDA now syncs email and contacts successfully and it tells me that the Calendar syncs as well (through Device Manager). This is however not the case.

The Device manager still recognises my old computer and the calendar reflects the state that it was in before the upgrade to the new one despite selecting the option to sync to the new one.

Q1 Can I remove the link to the old computer to avoid this confusion?
Q2 Can I force the process to sync to my new computer?

Trouble syncing with Vista and V51

Yesterday I posted a note to explain the problems I was having with this.

Since then I have Removed all Partnerships and done a hard reboot on the V51.

I have successfully created a new partership but I now have "severity errors" and nothing at all syncs. I have unchecked "Enable advanced network functionality".

I am tearing my hair out. I have spent hours on this and have no tech support available.

Can anybody HELP?

Thanks in advance

Tony

How in the hell is Device Manager seeing your old computer? You need to delete the partnership from your device. This will also delete all of your Outlook info (email, task, notes, & contacts). You will need to back-up all of your PIM data first. Then connect your device to your new computer & let it establish a new partnership.
