Low battery message

Well I just got my new 3600 mah extended battery Saturday and fully charged it, last night I put it in and used it for my GPS. After about 30 minutes I had the low main battery message come up. Lucky for me I was at my destination and cut everything off. When I came back out just out of curiosity I turned my ax back on to see what the level was and showed 90% charged. This battery came from Mega Capacity which was recommended to me in another post. I was wondering if I needed to change a setting or something that I had missed. BTW the battery never did get warm or anything out of the ordinary.

Thanks for everyones help thus far I have learned a lot and will continue to learn more as I go.

Did you charge it in the AX or in the back of the cradle. And, how long did you charge it? Most of the time new batteries need an overnight, 12 - 16 hours to be fully charged.

Is the latch on your door all the way closed? I got the same low battery warnings with my 3600 battery too, though it continued to run fine. Th "feet" on the door were too long and it wasn't latching all the way..That's the only connection I could make with warnings..

I charged it for 24 hours in the back of the cradle.
I will look at the door and see if that might be the problem.
Thanks for the replies!
