Hi

Recently started to experience problems with ActiveSync so decided to do a full back up to SD card and hard reset.

I have tried restore from the card but getting error 'no backup file exists' despite seeing them there on the card. I have made sure all regional settings and time etc. are the same as when back up file was created.

I would be grateful for some help!

Just to be cleared, you created a backup using ActiveSync?

No. Created the backup to SD using built in application.

Maybe a corrupt backup?

How did you know the Activesync problem wasn't on the computer-side?

Sorry but if the file is corrupted which is possible maybe only a third party backup software can bring it back. The amount of time needed to get this working may not worth it. It might be faster to just reload everything. When I had an X51V I always use Sprite backup to create it and to restore. I never used teh built in software as it was the talk then that it was not reliable.

Sprite works great but it's a little expensive. I use Spb Backup: Spb Backup - Pocket PC Products - Spb Software House
