Can't get Outlook '02 to sync with my Axim X51 running Vista. Worked just fine on XP using the latest version of activesync. Read some MS gibberish that said activesync should'nt be run on vista? should i install it anyway?

No. Windows Mobile Device Center is successor of Activesync. Activesync will NOT install on Vista. Use WMDC, the link's here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi....mspx#download

When you establish a partnership, outlook can sync.
