Battery dead for a month - unit won't start after recharge

Haven't been using my x51v that much lately and the battery went dead. I'd say it's been dead for a month so I charged it., but it won't turn on.

I've tried a number of ideas including removal of the batter, reset, hard reset, etc., but no activity.

ideas.

Is the internal battery shot now?

Have you attempted to boot it up in the charge cradle?

If the battery is too low it needs a bit of a kick start.
Sometimes it doesn't charge properly or recognise the charge.
With the AC it lets it boot up without using the battery.
