File Storage "full"

I happened to let my X51v battery get depleted. When I recharged it (it was at zero), I got a message that I had critical storage shortage and needed to delete some files. It wasn't like this before the battery depletion, so I am wondering if it created some "backup" files that were huge to save my data. It says I have 194.91MB in use of a total 195.12MB. I looked through file explorer, but can't seem to figure out which files can be safely deleted or which may be junk files. Any suggestions?

Do you browse the internet a lot, if so you will get some temporary internet files built up. Those can be deleted from the options in PIE or other browsers.
Did you install a lot of programs?

If you dont have a memory card, sd or cf, get one. They are so cheap nowadays and they are great at storing programs, backups, etc, offering a lot more room than the built in memory.

Sometimes you can accidentally hit the record button and it records a huge file.
I'm not sure what it is called but you can use the search feature to find large files.
If there is a large audio file delete that.

If I remember correctly there should be a setting under Settings-->System-->Memory for "Find large files" that should give you a clue to what's filling up storage space.
