Hi guys, I really need your help. As you can see in the topic, I'm trying to update the ROM of my X51v from A06 to A12. I'm following the procedure as Dell tells and the application shows me an error more o less like "The update does not support that language".

The host computer is a Dell Latitud D630 with Windows XP SP2 in English. I have installed Microsoft Activesync is v4.5 (last version) in English too.

The ROM language is also in English.

Could some one tell me what's going on?

It's really odd I can't go to the last ROM version. I've seen a lot of posts saying that the PDA is running quite faster with the A12.

It could be two things,
Is your X51v itself in English?
Have you downloaded the correct file from dell?

Yes, my X51v is in English. I guess I downloaded the correct file, I will check again just in case and let you know. At least I was accessing the site as I were inte United States. The application in running in English too.

It's the UK site but that makes no difference.

I was able to install the update. Thanks for your support. There was someting with the file I was using.
