OK, I screwed up my Axim somehow. A friend wanted me to try using his phone as a modem via bluetooth so I did. ONCE.

Now, every time I try to connect to the internet while at work when he is around, it always shows a screen with his name on it(from his phone) and asks me for the username and password to connect.

Now, this is even after I am connected to my workplaces Wireless connection. It happens after I start up either PIE or MiniMo as they are the only 2 browsers I have on my x51v. I cannot find any connection settings to delete so it will stop looking for his phone. Oddly enough, after he leaves, my Axim stops trying to locate his phone to connect with and goes back to my offices wireless connection as though nothing has happened.


How can I delete this profile so my Axim stops trying to locate his phone when he is around? What other info do I need to provide in order to solve this problem?

You should be able to find his phone as a device in the Bluetooth settings.
Delete the pairing.

You probably also created a modem in the connection settings, this can be removed as well.

Edit; He may need to delete the pairing as well from his phone.

I once solved a similar problem this way:
Go to settings-connections-connections-advanced-select networks
Make sure that both frames shows:
My Work Network

Thanks for the input. I found hs phone under the connections/ modem area and was able to delete it from ym Axim. Now I just have to get the local wireless info placed back into my unit. The odd thing was that every time my x51v looked for his phone after I connected to the local wireless at work, it would delete the hidden infrastructure settings and I would have to reinstll them to get teh local wireless connections at work.
