I love the Dell but I hate this "battery latch was opened" message that come if a gentle breeze from a slow fly glances the PPC from within 10 feet. I've tried nail polish, tape, paper, etc. but nothing works. Any other ideas to save my Dell? Right now it's totally worthless.

I've done the surgery to my 3 x51v's and the problem is gone.

But first you may want to try another ROM for your Axim. Some ROMS increases the rate of the message. (Odd, I have no idea why)
