Axim51v freeze

I use my Axim 51v with original untouched German Factory ROM 04 for one year without any Problem and some programmes e.g. TomTom 6, Pocket RTA, Path away, TCPMP, WiFiFum. With 1x 1 GB Kingston of SD and 1x 2 GB of CF Card Memory also without any problem. However, for a few weeks falls of the Axim over and over again. The screen freezes and he reacts to no more key.
Before, i removed some programs with SK Tools, and update Tom Tom Maps. Then the trouble started, with the freezing screen. I make various settings in the forums are discussed, and after nothing has helped, i renew the original ROM 04 Ger (21.06.06) successfully but this helps also nothing. He freezes after 1, sometimes after 20 minutes, also without the CF Card. Freezes also in the Cradle. He plays videos or mp3 with media Player pretty well. Has anybody an idea whats wrong with this ? I guess memory, or buggy BT??

Hi,
by "renewing the Original ROM"< do you mean a hard reset?

Try running Diagnostic Mode by:
1. Press Power and the Record button (On the side) at the same time
2. While holding the two, tap the reset hole
3. Continue to hold the two until a screen pops up
4. Release the Power and Record button
5. Follow all directions given

One of my co-workers speaks German. As he put it, he speaks conversational German, but his written German is more textbook than conversational. :)

No, i mean a ROM update.
I run the diagnostic Mode successful with no error. After this the AXIM would not start, and i remove the Batterie for a while. No Starting Axim at all. Nothing is definitively to be started with the Axim.
For example, after a Factory reset without any installed program (to kcallahan "free RAM enough") he freezes at the boot up in the second windows mobile screen, or in the screen with the Stylus test patterns.
I have no Idea, except to drive over with my car.

an other idea was to update to the Lenny sh 11 ROM.
if this is recommendable?
however i dont have the heart to do ;-)

I hate to say it, but one thing to rule out, check that you haven't accidentally engaged the Lock Switch?

only active sync is running

is this ok?

PS.
what still occurs to me. Today i receive by post 5x original Backup Capicitor each for 1.30 Euro
but after the installation it became also not better.

Deller, those numbers look ok.
Sorry I can't be more help but I can't think of anything to suggest.
