I think the TCPMP Youtube function does not work due to Youtube changing their internal "stuff".

Try YouTubePlay and see how it works for you.

youtube videos in dell axim X51V

with the youtube play I can see these videos now!, too many thanks!.

Just, I have installed the 1.0.0.11 version and 3.5NET framework, but the application sometimes is running too slow, sometimes show the security cockie error, sometimes shows the -3 error, and sometimes freeze.....

Sometimes I'm searching some specific video and don't appears in the youtube play windows......I make the search again and then it appears....

May be try with older versions? 1.0.0.9 or less?

regards, Martin

PD: I'm was recommended this application because I can't make works the FLV pluggin for my TCMP core player 0.72 or 0.81.....always shows: RTSP protocol not supported....

Try uninstalling Youtubeplay and reinstalling. I think you are supposed to have Net Compact Framework 3.5 before installing Youtubeplay. Also, 1.0.0.11 is the only Youtubeplay that still works. The older versions will give you the security cookie error.

If you don't see the video you want when you search, tap the Youtube button again after the first videos come up. You can keep tapping the Youtube button and more and more videos will come up if there's more available under what you searched for.

As for your problems, I have never had any security cookie or freezing issues. It's worked great for me and that's why I recommend uninstalling Youtubeplay and reinstalling.

CorePlayer, the commercial version of TCPMP, will play Youtube.

I agree CorePlayer works great with Youtube. Unfortunately, it is shareware and you have to buy it.

Use Opera Mobile 9.5, it has the Flash Lite plugin and supports the real YouTube complete with YouTube player, comments, etc. The unfortunate part is that it isn't as smooth as TCPMP (which uses i2700g acceleration) but it isn't as bad as paying for CorePlayer (which I detest...you don't go commercial from open source!).

I do wish someone would fork the old TCPMP and start a new open-source branch though, since TCPMP was licensed as open-source the source still needs to be out there.
