I have a X51V Axim and have used Word and Excel programs before on the PDA. Now, I can not get my files into Word or Excel and need them for a course I am taking. Anyone have any suggestions what I might be doing wrong or a good solution for me.

On your desktop, make sure you save those Word/Excel files as .doc and .xls, respectively. (Not .docx or xlsx, older Office Mobile versions cannot read them)

Then just copy and paste them when you sync your Axim. Tap the file in File Explorer or use the "Open" function in Word or Excel Mobile.

John, you forgot that Microsoft released mobile office 6(.1?) for WM5 which (I think) has office 2007 support. You just need to download it from Microsoft's site. But yes, your method works too.
