Preparing Axim for sale - removing data

I'm selling my Axim X51, and I want to wipe the data. If I do a hard reset, will it remove the Office programs? Word Mobile, Excel etc? What is the recommended way to prepare the device for sale?

I now am using Vista, and have never synched on Vista. I sort of abandoned my Axim in its XP state. I assume that to synch with Vista, I will need to install some version of the software on my computer. Of course, my original disks are most likely and older version of Windows mobile. The easiest way, I assume would be to fire up my old computer and synch.

Finally, I have a licensed ListPro on the Axim. If I hard reset, that will disappear I assume. I have no idea if I can transfer the license.

Any ideas?

Make a full backup to a memory card.
Then do a hard reset and have a look.
You'll find that all built-in programs are still there.

The ListPro license is personal and associated to the owner id of your Axim.

Also, check to see if you have anything in Built in Storage (if you are still running WM2003SE). Anything there is not touched by a hard reset. And don't forget to remove all your memory cards.

Thank you. I don't have any additional memory cards. Now I just need to search for how to do a hard reset. (I'm sure there are instructions on this site!)

Hold the power button and press the reset button in the little hole on the back, then follow the onscreen instructions.
