Lotus notes

Hello,

I'm new on this forum. So, sorry for the mistakes I will make...

I'm looking to buy a X51 but I want to make sure I will be capable to synchronise it with my two mailing systems (outlook and lotus notes).
I know that outlook (my private) is fully supported but what about synchronisation of lotus notes (my professional)?

If it works with Lotus notes, will i be capable to also synchronise using the wifi connection?

Thanks for your ideas helping me to make the best choice.

Regards

I have Lotus Notes at work. You need another program called MNotes to synch w/ LN. It works GREAT, and I have my Calendar, Address Book, and E-mail that synch's.

That's the good news. The bad news is the license is 70.00. But highly worth it in my opinion. Easy to use, and great customer support.

Yes, only I realized the link I sent you was to the Palm OS. But you will also find the version for Pocket PC Mnotes on that site. I love it, but I have yet to register it. Also, I had one tech. wuestion, e-mailed Common Time, and got a good answer in one day! Very reliable....

Is it just me, or is $70 completely unreasonable for a conduit programme?
I'm still using an ancient version of Intellisync rather than paying that!

mNotes Rocks

I have been using mNotes with my X5 for a couple of years now. I tried Intellisync and EasySync, but neither of them hold a candle to mNotes. The Intellisync and Easysync products are sync products which support Lotus Notes. mNotes is written by a bunch of Notes guys, so it uses the Notes APIs and integrates way better with Lotus Notes. You get way more features and it can be installed to run as a service so I can log into my laptop with different ids at different client networks and all of these login ids can synch with my Notes which was huge for me.

I also have had a couple of tough questions for tech support due to my complex configuration and the Common Time guys were AWESOME for tech support. They replied to my emails promptly and even talked to me over the phone (long distance from England) to walk me through some stuff. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Best 70 bucks I have spent in a long time.

Totally agree on the Commontime support people...they were a great help. Just a caution with the x51 with WM5.0 - mnotes currently does not operate with WM 5.0 They are scheduling a release of this the end of October that will be compatible. I spent 3 days trying to figure out what was wrong with my dell until I realized the mnotes was the problem. I'm hoping it is released on schedule...just an FYI...
