X51v issue
Anybody else having a problem with their X51v not turning on sometimes when you press the power button?

It only happens once every couple of days, but it bugs me. The only way I can get it to come on is to do a soft reset.

Could it be you are running some program or a game? Sometimes when I press the power button on my 50v when playing a game it won't work to turn it on again without soft reset...

I was hoping I wasn't the only one having this problem....

Maybe it will be fixed with a later ROM update or something, or again maybe it is just an issue I need to call Dell on.

I will wait for a few more responses and if I'm the only one I will call Dell and get a replacement unit.

Thanks for the responses so far.

Hey I have the exact same issue. I just posted about it on a new thread (didn't see yours). Let me know what you find out as I am anxious as well. Thanks. -D

Mine has the same problem. Thought it was a pre-release unit issue, but apparently it's not.

Just for the record, I have this issue too.

I also have issues with PocketMVP where it hangs while doing video playback of divx encoded files. I think that issue has to do with PocketMVP not being completely compatible with WM5...

Try TCPMP instead of PocketMVP.

At least I'm not the only one with this problem. Sounds like it just might need a ROM update. But who knows when that will be???
I didn't want to go through the trouble of returning it and to just have the same trouble with the new one.
Thanks for the responses.
