Change ROM X51
Hi,
Does someone knows how to change my rom (WM 2005) from my Axim X51 with my rom (WM 2003) from my X50v?
I'm realy not pleased with the WM 2005 and wants to intall WM 2003 on to my X51. A lot of programs do not work on my X51. (TomTom 5)

Rgds,

Search for flashing rom, or something like that, basically, you have to copy a rom image to a memory card and hit a bunch of buttons.

But remember, since there is no backup battery in the x51v you will undergo a hard reset any time you change the battery. Other than that it might work.

wm5 uses persistant storage to stop this happening.

WM2003SE uses the main ram to store all your settings
