I would be interested in the answer to that one too!

The Zune offers some premium headphones Zune.net | Headphones

But I am hoping Santa brings me some Ultimate Ears. If I don't get them for Christmas .....I will order some next summer for my birthday!

Sennheiser makes fantastic headphones/earbuds at a decent cost. For $49.99 you get some great sounds!
Check NewEgg and you'll find alot of different phones/buds and alot of reviews to match

I will second the Sennheiser recommendation. I use a pair of over the ear phones for when I am out running, which are open air for safety, but they are still excellent. I'd guess that any of their line are as great.

I just recently purchased a pair of Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 earphones for $99.99 at RadioShack to use with my 4700. I absolutely love them. I did a lot of research and read a lot of posts from other peoples opinions and decided to go with these and have not been disappointed. My main requirement was to find the best earphones for under $100.00 and I am very happy with my decision.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will see if I can find some of them locally to try them out. I was able to test the Ultimate Ears...so I know I would like them! I guess I ought to check for a sale..... I have been known to put a gift or two under the tree from Santa to me!

I have used the Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 and to compare them to the Sennheiser CX300S is like apples and oranges.
The Ultimate Ears Super.fi sound great, but the Sennheiser sound even better, throughout the entire frequency range. Bass is much richer as well, and the highs aren't as "tinny" as the Super.fi
Oh, and they cost 1/2 as much!

Just my .02 though

Thanks David! Since you have compared the two, I could go with your recommendation (the less expensive) and add a bluetooth keyboard to my order (I have been eyeing the TO Stowaway Sierra Bluetooth keyboard)

A BT keyboard is nice to have around
I spent alot of time researching headphones/earbuds, and have bought way too many different sets lately....just looking for the "perfect" set for me.
And for me it was the CX300S (there's also a CX300B, one is silver, one is black).

They were the most comfortable also, and actually stayed in my ears
I was beginning to think my ears were odd or something, because all the others would fall out or not seat right.

With whatever model/manufacturer you go with, let us know...and what you think about them. Alot of people here have similar questions about headphones so the more answers we have, the better

A couple great headphone sites:

Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio - Powered by vBulletin
Products - HeadRoom - Right Between Your Ears

Those will give you great ideas. The second one lets you organize headphones by price and also ranks them. Both are excellent resources.

Head-fi is THE best headphone site, and IMO, the best website for any specific hobby. I have yet to find another site that offers the same level of involvement and enthusiasm that Head-fi does. There is a big amp company that produced a special amp just to commemorate the 5th anniversary of head-fi.

Anyways, I think the Shure e2cs are maybe the best value for entry level high end ear buds.

Of course you should not need to spend $200 for a headphone , there are tons of good headphones below that budget . Grado SR60 Stereo Headphones is pretty cool features vented diaphragm, non resonant air chamber, standard copper voice coil wire, standard copper connecting cord, mini plug with 1/4" adaptor . Only priced at about $70 , you can find it in many stores .
