This is the biggest time of the year for many to get the gadgets and toys they want. For the teens, it’s the time when Santa opens up his wallet to get them that new Zune, iPod, or killer Pocket PC Phone they always wanted. For the grown ups, it’s the time when their spouse finally gives in to buy them that new 60 inch HD LCD. Even single folks will get themselves a little something to call it a gift to themselves....

The Aximsite/Mobilitysite 5 year Birthday Party…
Since Aximsite and Mobilitysite are in effect the same site now, I am going to merge their celebrations insteal of having two 5 year anniversary celebrations this year. I think this will make it much easier moving forward. On December 12th, Aximsite hits 5 years.
We are still in the process of gathering toys for the giveaways, but so far it looks like an HTC Hermes...
From Gotta Be Mobile :
We are one tight-knit group of folks gathered around the Tablet PC / UMPC space. It is one reason why Marc Orchant’s current situation has stunned us all. We’ve been following Marc’s writings and listening to his podcasts for years, growing to know him more and more each day. He truly is one of the most likeable and knowledgeable people I’ve ever met. Now, one of our very...

Contest #1 – Win a Bluetooth GPS
OK, I need your help, so let’s do a contest. After sitting unused for 6 months, the download section needs love. Go forth and help us populate the download section with freeware, legal themes, and trials. Let’s grab the best. Make sure that these files are legal for us to host though. :)
So, basically, just log in and upload. Make sure to write a good description. For...
Not many people really know what Mobius is all about, but it’s a great time for those in attendance and the conversations and sessions that happen at the conference help shape the industry via feedback and breakout sessions. This is how Mobius is defined by John Starkweather….
In the two times that I have attended Mobius, I learned more in those couple days than I can ever really describe. In addition to...

I don’t sleep much, let alone take a day off from the online fun, but Thanksgiving is one day I normally kick my feet up and enjoy. I have so much to be thankful for in life and I am sure all of you do too.
What is the history of Thanksgiving in United States? The initial “Thanksgiving” feast, held in 1621, was really a traditional English harvest celebration. The Pilgrims shared it with the Native...
This time for great reasons.
In Aximsite’s peak, we were up to 3 servers to handle the load. Since the Axim has been discontinued, Aximsite’s forums (now Aximsite/Mobilitysite Forums) have declined since we peaked at an Alexa Ranking of 5000 or so. That said, the need and financial means for 3 servers has gone away. We dropped down to 2 servers earlier this year and down to 1 in the last couple months....
Thanks so much Jason Dunn from Pocket PC Thoughts for this post you posted today. I am sure many of you here also remember PocketPC Passion and Dale Coffing. In fact one of our moderator Don’t Panic! came over from Pocket PC Passion when it went down due to server failure.
Well Jason found this video. I have seen Dale 1-2 times a year at CES and CTIA Events, but I am sure a lot of you have not… So here he...

I am so sorry that we were down today. I am mad, but what can I do. We were at the mercy of the hosting company, who was at the mercy of the phone company, who was at the mercy of some idiots that cut into 72 fiber optic cables between my town and Birmingham, Alabama.
Anyhow, this fiber cut took the hosting company down. I am dissappointed, but for 7 years, I have used this company and have only had problems that were...
No, No… I don’t have a Zune yet either… But I do have something I have wanted for a long time. A Zune Blog!
Got Zune is a Blog about the Microsoft Zune. Got Zune has been a long time coming. It’s now, finally, alive and kicking. Got Zune will feature news, tips, reviews, and discussion about the Microsoft Zune!
Got Zune will not replace Zune reporting here at Mobilitysite at all. Just like Tiltsite.com,...

We are pushing out the contests right and left again. I hope everyone is enjoying this. The Pink Zune Contest is open until 10pm CST tonight too.
Yesterday Jack shared with us an updated version of ThemeGenCE. I am in the process of working on some themes for SEC Sports Teams, but I really suck at the theme creation gig, so I decided I would let some of our great tweakers showcase their talent. What better way that...
I’ll Start with the Contest Announcement.I left 4Smartphone.net as my Exchange Hosting Provider based on their ridiculous rollout of Exchange Server 2007 a month or so ago. I went with Sherweb. I haven’t had any troubles until Friday night. 90% of my email from reports, individuals, contact forms, etc all go to my @aximsite.com account. I have those emails forwarded by my mail server to Sherweb’s servers...
