JayBird Tiger Eyes Review

Posted by PPCApache on Sep 14, 2009 | Comments

I have been a fan of JayBird’s headsets since the review I completed for them on the JB-200 & iPod Adaptor, I jumped at the chance to try their new Tiger Eyes Earbuds. Since I have had my iPhone I have been using the standard default headset from Apple if I thought I might receive a call if out walking, my other headset is Smokin Buds Black by SkullCandy. Now the Smokin Buds are good but have no mic just a volume...

REVIEW: Mimo UM-710 USB Monitor

Posted by Zealot on Jul 16, 2009 | Comments

Who doesn’t occasionally wish they had a few more inches of monitor space? Maybe you want to still see your email client while playing WoW on full screen or when you have too many Word documents open. Maybe you like to keep your IM client or Skype or your music software on an easily visible side screen, away from other applications. Well then, you need another monitor. Sadly, limitations imposed by hardware, graphics...

REVIEW: SanDisk 16GB MicroSDHC Card

Posted by Zealot on Jul 14, 2009 | Comments

I still remember my first computer storage device, an external hard drive for a Mac Plus. It was the size of a small VCR, held 20MB and it seemed like it was more storage then anyone would ever need until the end of time. This last week I have been testing a SanDisk 16GB MicroSD card, kindly provided by our friends at SanDisk. Where once I was so impressed by 20MB the size of a bread box, I now take the fact that 16,000MB...

Xpad Slim Review

Posted by Steve Laser on Jun 08, 2009 | Comments

In January of 2008 I had the pleasure to review the Xpad for Laptop, a nonslip laptop cooler and heatshield, and I have used it ever since.  As you know, laptops get mighty hot – up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit -  and uncomfortable sitting on your lap.  The Xpad for Laptop, as I said in my previous review, works like this: “The legs of the “X” shape are raised slightly above the base of the unit, allowing airflow...

Review: iHarmonix Platinum i-Series Headphones

Posted by Chris Leckness on Mar 23, 2009 | Comments

2 Words… Inexpensive and Awesome! Seriously. For the price, these headphones deliver. Enough of the infomercial voice now, let’s take a look at the iHarmonix Platinum i-Series Headphones. I first got a chance to hear these new headphones using my own Zune at the Digital Focus event during CES in January. I normally don’t stop at booths for accessories, but there was such a nice sized crowd there,...

Review : i-gotU GPS GT-120 GPS Travel Logger

Posted by JakeRich on Dec 10, 2008 | Comments

i-gotU GPS GT-120 GPS Travel Logger by Mobile Action Technology, Ltd Sometimes all you want for GPS is to record where you have been and then later retrieve that data. You might also like to tag your digital photos to that GPS data so you can see where you took the pictures you have for reference later. The i-gotU GT-120 GPS Travel Logger does all of that that. And it does it pretty well. Although technically the device...

Review: ProClip has the solution!

Posted by Jack Cook on Nov 14, 2008 | Comments

Having the right mounting solution for my device has always been an issue. Some solutions are too big; others are too cheaply made and most are just “universal” mounts that fit a variety of devices. They are OK, in fact I got one years ago that was adjustable and has served me well but the biggest issue I had was that it was mounted from my windshield. Why was that an issue? It always created a little restriction...

InvisibleSheild Review

Posted by Steve Laser on Aug 10, 2008 | Comments

The HTC Advantage without invisibleSHIELD applied I recently had the opportunity to test drive the invisibleSHIELD by Zagg.  It comes in full body protection or just screen protection.  I was intrigued by it because of Zagg’s description:  “The invisibleSHIELD is the toughest, most durable gadget scratch protection film available on planet Earth. The film has its origins in the U.S. military,...

I have been reviewing and testing a few of ARKON’s new holder and mount models for a few days now and here are my impressions about them. This set of mounts that I got for reviewing includes some of their brand new designs as well as some of their all-time best sellers. All of ARKON’s products that I received for review are made of a sturdy black plastic and no matter how much beating they took, they did not...
