The Ebook Reader War continues. Amazon just scored a major victory and a lot of attention with the double barreled attack of new models AND another price cut on their Kindle ebook readers. Considering that Barnes & Noble had just introduced a new WiFi only Nook as well as dropping the prices on the 3G model a few weeks ago, to lower prices again so soon would look more than a little desperate. Barnes & Noble eReader Released for iPad
The B&N Reader for iPad hit the App Store today, bringing with it several nice elements found on their Nook eReader, including the LendMe feature which lets you lend books to other B&N users for 14 days. The application allows you to add notes and highlights to what you are reading, and gives you access to your B&N Library, just as is possible on the Nook, PC or iPhone versions.
