It’s big, but purdy as it can be… I am drooling. Throw a slide out keyboard on that baby and I have my newest phone. :)

It has a 4.3” Screen, mucho RAM, and a 1GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. I can only assume this will be the successor to the Touch HD, which was rumored to “Not run WinMO” not to long ago. This is definitely running WinMo 6.5 and is a slate phone about the same dimensions as the Touch HD.

HTC Touch HD Reviews

We may not get an “official release” version of the HTC Touch HD here in the US, but I am sure something similar will hit our dirt eventually. Just because it’s not really designed for an sold in the US doesn’t mean you can’t get one imported and use it here. A couple sites have taken the HD on test drives here in the US too.

HTC Touch HD – Not for the US, But Still Hot – Video

Want to gawk some more at a hot phone that we won’t be seeing in the US? Yes, that’s right, HTC notified their starving fans via Twitter earlier this week that HTC has no plans of bringing the HTC Touch HD to the US. In HTC’s defense, did they ever claim they were? Nope. We, the fans and blogosphere, just ran with it and crossed our fingers. I am sure we’ll see a variant of the Touch HD at some point in the US, but the Touch HD is not “Coming to America“. Despite this bad news, it’s still a hot number and friend and fellow Mobius Member, Pavel got some time with one and shares his review and video with the world.

HTC Touch HD Photos Popping Up

There are a couple sites already posting some beautiful photos of the HTC Touch HD. The HTC Touch HD is a phone that HTC announced 3 days ago.

Many of the photos compare the screens of the HD and the iPhone. Click on the thumbs for fullsize.

HTC Touch HD – Official or Big Oops?

Thanks to Dieter for the lead on a slip up or huge soft launch from HTC over at Engadget. Apparently, the rumored (or sorta rumorted) HTC Touch HD has a new landing page on HTC’s website. The website (LINK) has all the specs, product tour, and more. Head on over to HTC.

…3.8-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera, and 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity-wise we’ve got Europe-friendly HSDPA, GPS / A-GPS, 802.11g WiFi (we weren’t clear on that one before), Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR and a microSD slot. On the software side there’s TouchFLO 3D on top of Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro. There’s also a front-facing VGA camera for video calls, 512MB of ROM and 288MB of RAM. HTC expects the 1350 mAh battery to score you 390 minutes of 3G talk and 450 ours of 3G standby, with 120 minute video calls just for kicks. The phone measures 12mm thick.
