			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you saw my <a href="http://mobilitysite.com/2008/08/whats-wrong-with-apples-iphone-application-store/" target="_blank">late night rant about the iTunes Application store</a> last night, here is an update. I don&#8217;t know what caused it and it&#8217;s still an issue, but it can be resolved easily, well kind of easy. You will have to re-download the applications. The problem is that it doesn&#8217;t have a button to &#8220;re-download&#8221;, but <a href="http://blogs.zdnet.com/mobile-gadgeteer/" target="_blank">Matt Miller</a> told me he had this issue and chose the cheapest application and decided to click &#8220;buy&#8221; and see what happens. I figured what the hell, and tried it too. It works! Check out these screen shots&#8230;</p>

<p>Ok, so I loaded up the Gen 1 iPhone with 2.0 software when it was released. I proceeded to drop $30-$40 on some applications. This all went well and the application store was looking like a superstar until Friday. I posted about how to customize your home screen on July 30th and in the photo below, you can see how my screen was configured, including what applications I had purchased.</p>

<p>Well, Friday night on the way out of town, I noticed that I am missing a ton of icons. I noted this from the car after I noticed it on my personal blog. I was out of town and primarily using the E-Ten M810 so no big deal. I decided to fix it when I got home today. Well, this didn&#8217;t go quite as planned&#8230;</p>
