It seems as if both Apple’s and AT&T’s sites simply cannot keep up with the deluge of people trying to pre-order the iPhone 4 this morning – including me. Pre-ordering started at around 4am EST on Apple’s site.
It seemed to be keeping up well, at least until the rest of the nation woke up. AT&T’s site failed fairly early, and is now plagued with maintenance messages – better...
US Nokia E72 Up For Pre-Order On Amazon

The successor to the E71 is up for pre-order on Amazon for $469. The US version with 3G. It’s a really cool looking phone, and it certainly looks like it succeeds the E71. Unlike the E71, however, the E72 is available only in one color, “Zodium Black” (where do they come up with these names?).

Zune HD – Standby for Preorder

Well, it is getting more official by the day. Amazon now has a portal page for Zune HD preorders. The links aren’t live yet, but with the leaked release date of Sept 8th just around the corner, I expect (hope?) they will be active soon.
The prices, $219.99 for the 16G and and $289.99 for the 32G look good, and undercut the iPod Touch nicely ($299 for 16G and $399 for the 32G). Of course we all know Apple has some surprises...
