SanDisk Releases WORM Technology

Posted by Zealot on Jun 24, 2010 | 4 Comments

Everyone knows how easy it is to change digital information in the modern age. Most of us have even have applications on our phone that can alter photos or edit text imperceptivity. Want a picture of yourself arm in arm with Jack Kennedy? Photoshop it! That line in the form that says NOT PERMITTED TO DRIVE? Use Word or Acrobat, erase the NOT and grab your keys. The ability to be edited, normally a great virtue of digital...

Posted by Dan H. on Jun 21, 2010 | 3 Comments

A lot of us love music, but we’re just way to busy to keep up and purchase/download songs to our BlackBerry. SanDisk is really creative, and came up with an amazing solution: the slotRadio+. Well, what exactly is the slotRadio+? It’s a microSD card that’s preloaded with 1000 songs, and to make the deal sweeter, it has an additional 4GB of memory for photos and videos. I’ve had the slotRadio+...

Using X4 architecture, SanDisk intends to break the current 32GB limit for SDHC capacity and release 64GB SDHC cards....

REVIEW: SanDisk 16GB MicroSDHC Card

Posted by Zealot on Jul 14, 2009 | 8 Comments

I still remember my first computer storage device, an external hard drive for a Mac Plus. It was the size of a small VCR, held 20MB and it seemed like it was more storage then anyone would ever need until the end of time. This last week I have been testing a SanDisk 16GB MicroSD card, kindly provided by our friends at SanDisk. Where once I was so impressed by 20MB the size of a bread box, I now take the fact that 16,000MB...

REVIEW – Sansa Clip 8G

Posted by Zealot on Dec 01, 2008 | 2 Comments

I have been in an MP3 Player state of mind of late, that is why I jumped at the chance to play with a review model of the new supersized Sansa Clip, courtesy of SanDisk. The device practically defines “no nonsense”. It sports the same tiny size as the rest of the Clip line, but now with 8 big Gigs of flash memory goodness. Having owned one of the 2G models for several months now, I was very curious to see if SanDisk...

Sansa Clip Bumped Up to 8GB, Still a Tiny Player!

Posted by Chris Leckness on Nov 12, 2008 | Leave a Comment

The Sansa line has come a long way and up against some stiff competition (iPod and Zune), but they keep going like the Energizer Bunny. The Sandisk Sansa Clip was one of the smallest music players out there and it’s still super small, but now you can put more on it. Sandisk has bumped the capacity to 8GB. That’s a lot of flash storage! SanDisk Corporation, a leading seller of MP3 players in the United States,...

In my search for a sleek, stylish, and small MP3 player with bookmarking capabilities so that I could listen to audiobooks, I discovered the new Sandisk Sansa Fuze, and what a lovely find it is indeed. This compact player is available in 2, 4 and 8 GB built-in memory increments. But it...

Posted by Rich Bilancia on Oct 07, 2008 | 13 Comments

Today’s Wall Street Journal contains a full page ad announcing the SanDisk 16GB MicroSDHC card.  The ad caught my attention because the top half shows only an actual size microSD card with the following caption in red ink: “innovating the impossible.”  The bottom half of the page contains the following: “From the inventor of flash memory cards comes the first and only 16GB memory card...

Paid Content is running a rumor lifted from a Korean website that says that talks are heating up for electronics heavyweight Samsung to acquire memory card kings SanDisk lock, stock and SD card readers. Samsung has hired bankers J. P. Morgan to handle the negotiations, and when told of the rumor, a Samsung flak said the following: We are looking at various opportunities regarding SanDisk but nothing has been decided...

Zunes Gain in Market Share.

Posted by rock4christ on May 13, 2008 | Leave a Comment

ACE of ZuneBoards posted a good commentary on the Zune’s upward swing in market share: With the entire PDMP market relatively slow-going, one positive aspect (depending how you look at it) is Zune has still able to find ways to increase its market share. And not by minuscule amounts; Zune has been able to capitalize and generate 33% gains in its share of a highly competitive market. No one expected that… That’s...

Mother’s Day Idea – Memory Kit MicroSD Adapters

Posted by Chris Leckness on Apr 21, 2008 | Leave a Comment

Here is a great idea for Mother’s Day, 2GB Sandisk Memory Kit. In the past, one of the best gifts I have given to my wife and mother is the old digital photo frame. I set them up with a nice slideshow and they go over really nice. This is a nice spin on memory cards that makes it easy for the woman in your life to move cards around. I am not characterizing women here, I just know my wife has such a time trying to...

You can get more info on the Sansa Fuze at Sandisk. Well,...
