Sling Media supporting BlackBerry

For those of you that have a Blackberry, SlingPlayer Mobile is now available and lets you watch and control your home TV and DVR via your Slingbox on your BlackBerry smartphone. Cool! Earlier today, I received and email letting me know that Sling Media’s SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry has officially exited public beta and is now available as an over the air download from mobile.slingmedia.com using a BlackBerry Smartphone’s web browser.

There is a one time charge of $29.99 but there is also a 30-day free trial for you to try it out. Of course, you need a Slingbox connected to your television source to take advantage of this software.

Windows Mobile SlingPlayer App Updated

Sling Media released updated versions of SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Mobile today. This release brings official support for new screen resolutions: 800×480, 640×480, 400×240, and 320×320. This release also adds support for 15 new phones:
