Thisismynext got word of another possible Android device that’s heading to T-Mobile, but not for a while, so don’t get too excited. According to them, the Samsung ‘Hercules’ is “not even entering the carrier’s test labs for another month and isn’t slated for acceptance until mid-August”. So the specs that follow are nowhere set in stone, nor confirmed by any means, but here’s...

I noticed an article on Pocketnow.com which mentions the bump in Memory on the upcoming T-Mobile version of the HTC HD2. The upgrade to 1 gig of Rom meets the Chassis one specs. for WM 7 which makes it a possibility that this will be the only version getting the updated OS. So I hopped over to HTC and they have the product page up where you can look at the specs and sign up for more info as it is available. Are you planning...

I caught this over at Phone Scoop yesterday and shrugged it off. I wasn’t too excited about that, but I was thinking about it again this morning when other sites started posting about it. Windows Marketplace does this already.
T-Mobile has indicated through its support forums that it is bringing carrier billing support to the Android Market. Until now, users wishing to purchase applications had to use Google Check-Out...

A lot of rumors have been coming together this weekend concerning the HTC Passion/Dragon, rumored to be Google’s Android 2.1 flagship phone, similar to the way the Droid premiered Android 2.0. At the time the Droid was announced, there was much noise about the fact that Google has taken to holding the hand of a certain vendor for each Android release, helping them create a phone to best showcase the software, after...

We all know Verizon and AT&T are on top with Sprint and T-Mobile not far behind. Well, actually T-Mobile and Sprint are further behind that I thought really. I am not much on looking into the size or income of the carriers, but I was reading over at Fierce Wireless and this caught my eye.
I thought Celluar South was the largest independent carrier too. Check out how this chart looked for Q1 and Q2 also.

That’s what Billshrink says at least. It’s a generalized comparison assuming that everyone is going to grab unlimited data and voice. This plays into Sprint’s hand no matter what device it is since Sprint’s unlimited voice/date package is unparalleled at this time. So it doesn’t matter what phone you put up against it using those numbers. Of course, if you throw out the unlimited voice, that number shrinks quite...

1st of all, if it does, it will most likely be referred to as the HTC HD2 still. It seems that HTC is working on bolstering their already big name by not allowing the carriers to rebrand their phones. So, T-Mo News got a tip that the HTC Leo aka the HD2 might be coming to T-Mobile. They apparently received a photo of some promo material that clearly show the HD2 on T-Mobile paper.
We already know the HTC HD2 is expected...

The myTouch form factor is almost identical to the HTC Hero on Sprint and it’s quite nice on it’s own. Now, throw in some sweet looking graphics, a fake wood back cover, and a name the musicians out there love and you have something even nicer. I am not a musician, but I have been an electric guitar hack since High School. I would love to have this look on any phone I own, but I go through them so fast that it’s...

Looks like BGR got a quite early look at the Motorola Cliq, the Android phone running MotoBlur. If you don’t remember the announcement, MotoBlur is sort of a shell on top of Android similar to Touch Flo on top of Windows Mobile. The big difference is that MotoBlur seems to be really social networking oriented.
The Motorola CLIQ isn’t a StarTac. It isn’t a RAZR. It’s a decent phone with a great concept....

Wow, grab the T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 for $150 with contract from Amazon. (aff link) This is the cheapest I have seen a variation of the Touch Pro 2 so far. I purchased the unlocked version 3 months ago, but I totally plan to get the AT&T version when it hits. All 3 of my numbers have upgrades available now. :)
I will warn everyone that this deal is for new subscribers and all those other little red tape items,...
