Android devices seem to leak out daily so it seems. Just the other day Verizon’s Incredible 2 showed its face, but now a user at Howard Forums was kind enough to share a few photos of the alleged DROID 3. As you can see the keyboard got a minor makeover since the last gen, which looks more usable. No word on alleged specs, or release yet.

In what appears to be a move following AT&T, Verizon Wireless may be killing off unlimited data plans as well. In an interview with Bloomberg’s BusinessWeek, Verizon Chief Financial Officer John Killan stated the following:
We will probably need to change the design of our pricing where it will not be totally unlimited, flat rate.
Verizon is basically worried that as they roll out their 4G networks, people...

Microsoft’s Kin One and Kin Two should become available tomorrow May 6th for Verizon customers via verizonwireless.com and in stores May 13th.
Microsoft’s new Zune-powered mobile devices aimed at our young generation of social networking music lovers is expected to go on sale tomorrow. The Kin One will sell for $50 and the Kin Two for $100 after mail in rebate and acceptance of a 2-year agreement with Verizon. ...

Verizon’s newest Droid is coming real soon. It’s the Motorola Devour. It is very similar to the Motorola Droid, but this one is running a slightly older Android build (1.6), a weaker camera, and the screen isn’t quite as nice. The main differences are that the Devour is running MotoBlur, a custom version of Android focusing on social media and in my opinion, a much better design and keyboard. Read on for my 1st...

This is the hot new Windows Mobile phone from Verizon, the Samsung Omnia II. The Droid isn’t all Verizon has to offer. They have the Storm II and now the Omnia II as well. The Omnia II can be purchased from Verizon for $199 w/ contract. The Omnia II has the Swype text entry that Marilyn told us about last week too. It’s packed with power:
Windows Mobile 6.5
800Mhz Processor
Memory: 512 Flash/208 RAM (+ 8GB of internal...

A little over a week ago, Verizon and Samsung made the “rumored” Samsung Omnia II official. Yesterday, I got word that I have one arriving today for our review. I reviewed the original Omnia last year and wasn’t overly impressed, but a lot has changed and this one looking pretty hot. I will have a video and some photos online for your viewing pleasure by this time tomorrow.
The Samsung Omnia II is a Windows Mobile...

The Droid has finally invaded Mobilitysite. Well, there are already a few Droid owners contributing to Mobilitysite, but they haven’t gotten around to sharing their thoughts yet. Maybe they are too busy enjoying the phone. Even though I got sick of all the buzz and ad saturation of this Droid launch, I feel the device is one that I would considering using longterm. It’ really surprised me. If the keyboard was...

Keisha posted last week about AppleInsider’s defense of AT&T against Verizon’s “there’s a map for that” ad campaign. It turns out that Engadget Mobile has posted a rebuttal of AppleInsider’s article, too, with the catchy title, Hey, AT&T — drop lawsuits, not calls.
It points out the numerous inaccuracies and misleading claims in AppleInsider’s “analysis”....

I hate to keep rehashing the same issues over and over, but the soap opera is getting more and more in depth. Yesterday, AT&T Filed a 30 page document to the court system calling for a Verizon to stop running their misleading ads altogether. Today, they have posted a public letter to their customers. You can read that letter that after the break.
I personally think that Verizon has some points, but I still don’t...

Apple Insider is running an article this morning, calling out Verizon for misrepresenting AT&T’s data coverage in their “There’s a map for that” ad campaign.
Verizon’s ads clearly compare, their 3g coverage to AT&T’s 3g coverage, but several feel that the ads imply there is no data in the blank areas on AT&T’s map, when it is in fact covered by AT&T’s EDGE network. It should be noted,...

Verizon blows the doors off with the pricing of the HTC Touch Pro 2. At just $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate for one of the best, most powerful phones out right now, you can’t go wrong in my opinion. You do have to sign a new two-year customer agreement on a voice plan with an e-mail feature or e-mail plan, but that’s kind of standard.
Beginning Friday (Sept 11), customers can order the HTC Touch Pro2 online...

Chris wrote a super-sized post about the Sprint Touch Pro 2 last Friday. Well, according to Engadget Mobile, it looks like Verizon Wireless is getting the HTC Touch Pro2 on September 11 (yes, this coming Friday), 3.5 mm headset jack and all. Even better, it will only cost $200 (after a $100 mail-in rebate) — $150 less than Sprint’s version. (Of course, Sprint’s service is probably less expensive,...

I would have to say yes… Verizon is unloading the Blackberry Storm for $50 right now. Are they making room for the new? Chances are… Yes.
There has been quite a few leaks on the Storm 2 lately, that should be a good indicator that something is coming soon right? In fact, there have been some really official looking leaks too. There was a screenshot posted at Crackberry (it’s been taken down now) that show a release...

Well this isn’t really big news to anyone, but we have something a little bit official now…
This is a landing page on Samsung’s website that has the Verizon logo and yes… that’s a WinMo logo in there guys. <3 WinMo. If you are interested in getting alerted as soon as it’s available, head over to this landing page and get on the mailing list. Thanks to Zach @ BGR for posting this. This further confirms...

There is some buzz in cyberspace today about Verizon leaving out app stores on their handsets and adding their own in their place…
And while Verizon is romancing developers, the carrier isn’t as solicitous of its handset partners. Verizon’s Ryan Hughes, VP Partner Management, said in an interview Friday that the network operator’s app store will be the sole marketplace on devices sold by the company, meaning...
