Sometimes it’s the “little things” that make life a little more enjoyable.  It doesn’t have to be expensive, it just has to do a task and enhance an experience.  Such is the case with a little program I ran across called LocateMe from Applied PDA Software. As I was perusing the apps at the Marketplace with my device, I ran across this neat utility that did one thing;  it located my position with Latitude...

Windows Mobile Kiosks Popping up at malls…

Posted by Chris Leckness on Dec 06, 2009 | 5 Comments

Looks like Microsoft is finally pushing Windows Phone some. There are kiosks popping up at malls. My guess is that HTC or one of the carriers are pushing it though. I wouldn’t expect Microsoft to do this. Have you seen this in your area? Besides this one, I saw Chuong Nguyen post on Twitter about seeing one recently too.   Source: 1800PocketPC AKPC_IDS += "34631,"; Read More →

I’ve been using SoftMaker Office for years and have found it to be a “must have” program on my devices especially if you do a lot of writing and want (or need) the ability to use all of the formatting that is available in Word  and not available in the mobile version.
